SHAIRI

BAHATI HUNA UBAYA:

Bahati shale bahati watu wa kufitini
Bahati huna udhia, watu wanakulaani
Bahati huna hatia, wabebeshwa kila zani
Bahati unaonewa, umetenda kosa gani!

Bahati uzuri umejaza, umekua na bahati
Bahri vitu umejaza, watu wanataka nini?
Bahati wanakucheza, binadamu maliuni
Bahati unaonewa, umetenda kosa gani!

Bahati una lawama, za uongo si yakini
Bahati wanokusema, ni manjunju si razini

Bahati kuharibika, hayo amezusha nani?
Bahati watu humaka, hao wanaokuhini
Bahati umejazika, kila tanu ya thamani
Bahati unaonewa, umetenda kosa gani!

Bahati hujageuka, bahati yako tanguni
Bahati watu ndo nyoka, mahaini na wahuni
Bahati una Baraka, mwenye pupa hazioni
Bahati huna ubaya, wabaya ni insani

Bahati unaonewa, umetenda kosa gani!
Bahati huna hasama, waja ndio kisirani

POEM

WE ARE ONE:

Kenya is a nation
Under one sunshine
That beams upon our blessed land
Towards our farms and our earnings
We are a nation of all walks yet one crowd
We are a nation of all creeds yet one colour
Of one flesh and of one soul
When the nation feels sad
I feel bad
When it feels hard
I feel hurdles
For hard times calls for solidarity
To donate generosity
Of food, blood and love
To the injured, to the bereaved

I am Kenyan!

For I am a family of love
Of one dad and one mama
Of sons and daughters of same rope
I am not divided, devil wants though!
I am a filial like flower’s filament
We are one on all occasions!

A nation of all tribes yet one clan. For I am one fraternity.

DID YOU KNOW?

Did you know that one sting of a jelly can paralyse a male horse?

Did you know that when a shark is pregnant it’s babies inside the stomach feed on each other and the strongest to survive is the one to be born?

QUOTES FROM STUDENTS

THE THINGS I BELIEVE IN LIFE:

1. Your success will not be of any benefit if it does not touch people’s welfare in a positive way.
2. You need to live knowing that the shortest way to failure is trying to please everybody.
3. You can be, have, or do anything that you want if only you want it hard enough!, In that God gives only what we are personate to but not what we want.
4. Destiny is not a matter of chance, it is a matter of choice, and it is not a thing to be waited for. It is a thing to be achieved.

– by Wilfred Ohempaka (School captain 2012-2013)

A real friend is not one who only entertain you but one who cares about you, one who will be there when you cry. Kind words bring life, but cruel words crush your spirit. Think like a queen. A queen is not afraid of failure. Never take life seriously, nobody gets alive anyways. Live your life and forget your age.
-by Lenny Wayne

Life is a journey where the wise are lovely. Fools are many in companion but of no importance. Be among the wise and shape your future.

Life is a journey full of up and downs. A driver is needed to drive the car which is life, have God as one and the most important. (Ecclesiastes 7:29) God made us plain and simple but we have made ourselves very complicated. Many are those who die while still young and live for the rest of their lives as corpses. Sacrifice now and live as a king tomorrow.
Who said that success is personal? no it isn’t. The community and the country in large depends on us.
Remember this:

1. The greatest person in life is not the person who concurs nations but the person who concurs him or herself.
2. Many are wishes in life but let’s stop wishing and start fishing remembering that success is a state of mind.
-by Ex-Captain Nickson Mwangi

Bad habits are like good beds, Easy to get into but hard to get out of. Life makes sence when we learn to see it from God’s point of view.

During an afternoon lesson in form 3, the teacher asked the students to draw a standing cow. While he was checking at them, he came across a boy.
Teacher: What have you drawn?
Student: A cow
Teacher: Yours is seating but I said a standing one.
Student: I drew it standing but it got tired and sat down.
